Below is a list of sites that I use/read on a regular basis visiting them at least once per week any in many cases -more than that. I have organized them by category and hope you find them useful.
DGI is exclusively focused on dividend growth investing and posts on many topics although I find the site especially helpful when it comes to detailed analysis of individual companies and overall dividend investing philosophy. Launched in early 2008, DGI has been writing about dividend growth investing for over 8 years now and the site is a great resource for all dividend investors. If you subscribe to the newsletter DGI will provide email their personal portfolio as well.
The Dividend Diplomats are focused on dividend investing and frugal living, but what make the site unique is its founded and updated by two individuals – Lanny and Bert. I really like that the site offers more than one opinion and while they often share similar views, they don’t always think alike. You can see the differences in their thinking and approach especially in some of the companies they buy. I find the detailed analysis and monthly updates like dividend income to be very informative and helpful.
Doughroller by Rob Berger is a personal finance site covering a wide range of topics. Its a good site with a ton of information and I especially like the way its organized. You can easily find information by category and I tend to focus on the investing articles, but you can also find information organized by banking, debt, credit cards and insurance as well. However, the real gem of it all is the podcast that Rob records a few times a month. I listen to every podcast and they are absolutely fantastic with great information and a very easy listen. I highly recommend the podcast to anyone interested in personal finance and investing.
Financial Samurai is a huge site, but I felt compelled to list it because it has a lot of great information. There is information about personal finance, investing, etc. But I find the information regarding net worth and overall wealth management to be especially valuable and a great resource. As the site as grown it has become more and more difficult to find information, but if you put the work in, its well worth it.
Real Estate Investing:
Alexander at Cash Flow Diaries (CFD) is all about turnkey rental properties – with almost 10 rentals properties (as of this writing) CFD invests almost exclusively in affordable rentals that generate passive income. Most of the site is about investing in rentals that generate income, but I always enjoy the coverage of net worth tracking and the recent side hustle, drop-shipping a product. A great site for anyone looking to, or already in, the renting/land lording business.
RE Tipster is brought to you by Seth Williams, a commercial real estate banker and investor in real estate since 2006. Seth is a part-time investor in real estate and shares his experiences and approach with folks interested in real estate. Since the site focuses exclusively on investing in real estate and is geared towards those who do not invest full time for a living, it can be very helpful to those looking to use real estate investing as an investment option to build passive income.
